Honda CB Hornet 160R launched in Nepal at NPR 2.60 lakh (INR 1.62 lakh)
Honda CB Hornet 160R is launched in Nepal by Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., authorized distributors of Honda Motorcycles and Scooters for Nepal. Priced from NPR 2,60,900 (INR 1.62 lakh) onwards, the new Honda CB Hornet 160R was launched at an event organized at Royal Beach Camp, Kurintar where a host of delegates from the company were present.
Honda CB Hornet 160R is offered in attractive colors of Pearl Night Star Black, Pearl Siren Blue, Neo Orange Metallic, Sport Red and Pearl Amazing White. It measures 2,041 mm in length, 783 mm in width and 1,067 mm in height. Its wheelbase measures 1,345 mm while ground clearance stands at 164 mm and fuel tank capacity is 12 litres.
Honda CB Hornet 160R is powered by a 163cc air cooled single cylinder engine. This engine is capable of 15.66 bhp power at 8,500 rpm and 14.76 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the engine promises good low-end torque, compression-ratio of 10:1 and comes in with a counter balancer thus considerably reducing vibrations and offering smooth acceleration. Fitted with HET (Honda Eco Technology) further enhances onboard ease and comforts.
Telescopic front suspension and mono shock suspension at the rear is seen on the new Honda CB Hornet 160R. Features include a sharp headlight and two position lights, upward facing side indicators and an X-shaped LED tail lamp. Fitted with maintenance free, leak proof MF battery, the Honda CB Hornet 160R also gets a Viscous Paper Air filter that needs no maintenance but only a replacement after 18,000 km.
