Honda has announced plans to introduce 10 electric 2W by the end of this decade. In the budget commuter segment, Honda has launched CB Shine 100 to rival the current people’s champion, Hero Splendor. With Bigwing offerings, we recently saw the introduction of styling kits with the CB350 lineup.

That said, Honda’s CB300 lineup has been registering low sales. Honda has CB300F and CB300R in this space which are being offered with heavy discounts, taking the price of CB300F to Rs. 1.98 lakh on-road. With CB300R, there is a flat Rs. 30,000 discount on its on-road price as well. Let’s take a look.

Honda CB300F Prices Slashed To Rs. 1.98 Lakh On-road

Dino’s Vault channel has revealed that JSP Bigwing at Kukatpalli, Hyderabad is offering huge discounts on the CB300 range. Dino mentions it as “never before, never again” offer. After the discount, prices for Honda CB300F are as low as Rs. 1.98 lakh on-road.

For context, Honda CB300F had an on road price tag of Rs. 2.75 lakh for Deluxe trim in Hyderabad before this offer. This is a flat Rs. 77,000 discount for CB300F. There is a catch, though. If you are one of the prospective buyers, time is ticking. This offer stands true till tomorrow, March 31st.

CB300R Gets A Flat Rs. 30,000 Discount

Honda’s flagship in the 300cc space in India is CB300R which comes with a more powerful engine. It takes on the likes of BMW G 310 R and KTM 390 Duke. As of now, Honda CB300R costs 2.77 lakh (ex-sh) in Hyderabad. Taking on-road prices to Rs. 3.28 lakh.

It gets a discount of Rs. 30,000 on its on-road price. With this limited-period discount, Honda CB300R will cost Rs. 2.98 lakh on road. Which makes it a very tempting proposition as opposed to the prices before.

Which Honda CB300 To Buy – F or R?

For starters, both CB300F and CB300R get different engines with a big gap in numbers. CB300R comes equipped with a 286cc single-cylinder engine making 30.7 bhp at 9000 RPM and 27.5 Nm at 7500 RPM. Whereas, CB300F gets a larger 293.52cc single-cylinder engine, but makes just 24.13 bhp at 7500 RPM and 25.6 Nm at 5500 RPM.

Both get 6-speed transmissions, USD front forks, mono-shock rear suspension and features like LED lighting and more. At Rs. 1.98 lakh on-road, CB300F comes off as a more value for money option. Because CB300R costs Rs. 1 lakh more for a similar proposition with slightly more performance.
