At the ongoing 2016 Bangkok Motor Show, Honda has debuted a new concept – called Honda CB650 Scrambler Concept. As of now, the concept is only a study and there are no plans to bring this on production line. Depending on customer interest, Honda officials will take a call on whether to launch the 650 Scrambler or not.
Based on the CB650, Honda CB650 Scrambler Concept study is powered by a four-cylinder 650 cc engine which generates 87 PS and 63 Nm torque. Mated to a six-speed gearbox, it does a 0-100 kmph sprint in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 265 kmph.
Features of the Honda CB650 Scrambler Concept include Pirelli MT-60 tyres wrapped around silver Y spoke alloys, carbon fiber mud guard, circular headlight with round LED DRL, LED taillights, digital instrument cluster, dual tone paint job of gold and white, upside down front forks, rear monoshock, black custom exhaust from Megaphone, Nissin brakes with ABS at rear, Brembo ABS brakes at the front (front has two discs, rear has a single disc), carbon fiber chain cover, thin seat with brown leather cover, S logo on the tank, Scrambler lettering under the seat, and cafe racer style mirrors,
