Honda CBR 650F India launch expected in March, 2015

Honda CBR 650F is a highly anticipated sports bike in India, which is a softer and more comfortable alternative to Honda CBR 600RR track tool. At expected price of around Rs. 5 lakh (ex-showroom), the mid-size motorcycle will compete with products of much exclusive marques in India like Triumph Street Triple, Benelli TNT 600i, Kawasaki Ninja 650 / ER-6N, and Hyosung GT 650. Honda CBR 650F will be locally assembled right from the launch, which is why it is believed to wear a compelling price tag.

Honda CBR 650F is one of HMSI’s 15 new launches in India this year.
The big brother of CBR 250R is propelled by liquid-cooled 649cc 4-cylinder DOHC engine producing max power of 87 bhp @ 11,000 rpm and peak torque of 63 Nm @ 8,000 rpm, connected to 6-speed transmission.

Salient features of Honda CBR 650F include mono headlamp unit embedded in racing-inspired full fairing, twin LCD multi-information display flanking traditional indication lights, twin-spar steel frame, alloy swing-arm, regular telescopic front fork, adjustable rear suspension with monoshock, 320 mm dual front disc, 240 mm rear disc brake, ABS as standard, 120/70ZR-17 tyre upfront, 180/55ZR-17 at rear and four-in-one exhaust.
