Honda CBR250R BSIII is being sold at INR 50,000 discount
Supreme Court of India has banned the sale of BSIII vehicles from 1st April. This has resulted in dealers offering huge discounts on two wheelers.
Just yesterday we had posted that how some dealers in Pune were giving away Honda Navi BSIII free along with the purchase of BSIII Honda CBR250R. But with many not interested in buying the Navi, the dealers did not see much interest in the CBR250R BSIII sales.
Thus to make the deal more exciting, some Honda dealers are now selling the CBR250R at a flat discount of INR 50,000. The offer is valid only for today as from tomorrow it will be illegal to sell BSIII machines.
Honda CBR 250R is powered by a single cylinder 249.6cc 4-stroke petrol engine with DOHC, that produces 25.35 PS max. power at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 23 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine has 4 valves and temperature of power plant is controlled by oil-cooling system. The 6-speed manual transmission in CBR 250R works in traditional 1-down 5-up principle.
Honda CBR 250R does a 0 to 60 kmph sprint in 3.50 seconds. The CBR 250R is capable of doing around 145 kmph tops. Claimed mileage of 50.1 kmpl is pretty surprising for a bike in its segment. Fuel tank capacity remains at 13 litres.
Overall dimensions are now 2033 x 720 x 1119 mm (length x width x height), with ground clearance of 146 mm and wheelbase of 1378 mm. Color options in CBR 250R include Millennium Red, Repsol Edition and Honda Three Colours. Honda CBR 250R comes with and without ABS, with non-ABS version loosing 6 kg of kerb weight.
