Showcased in concept format at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2015, the new 2016 Honda CBR250RR was finally revealed to the world in production ready format last year. Anyways, in the Indonesian market, Honda CBR250RR will be available in two formats, non-ABS and ABS. The former is priced from 63-68 million IDR (INR 3.22 – 3.48 lakh) while the latter is priced from 69-70 million IDR (INR 3.53 – 3.58 lakh).

Honda CBR250RR comes with a state of the art Throttle-by-Wire (TbW) system. It is powered by a 250cc parallel twin, liquid cooled engine with 8 valves. Originally, Honda had first announced the max power output figure of the CBR250RR as 36.8 PS. But the same was later revised to 38.7 PS, making Honda CBR250RR the most powerful production spec quarter liter in the world.

Power output stands at 28.5 kW (38,7PS) @ 12,500 rpm and maximum torque of 23.3 Nm (2.4 kgf.m ) @ 11,000 rpm.

Production-spec CBR250RR closely resembles its concept, showcased earlier at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. It is seen with sharp and aggressive styling in keeping with its CBR lineage. It gets dual LED headlights, double barrel exhaust and an all digital instrument console. The Honda CBR250RR also sports single disc brakes in front and rear along with upside down forks in the front and mono shock at the rear.

Honda CBR250RR is being produced at the company plant in Indonesia. India launch of Honda CBR250RR is not planned, while in Japan, the bike will be launched soon.
