Honda CBR250RR could make global debut at the 2016 Tokyo Motor Show or EICMA later this year.

First showcased as a concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show in October last year, 2017 Honda CBR250RR is reportedly leaked online in its production ready guise. The image above, which is making rounds on social media is most likely that of the upcoming new twin cylinder 250 cc motorcycle from Honda.

To be powered by a twin cylinder 250 cc, 4 stroke, liquid cooled engine, expect peak power output in the region of 35 PS while torque output could be at about 28 Nm. The engine will be mated to a six speed transmission.

Featuring an aggressive full fairing in the front, highlights of CBR250RR includes twin projector headlamps with LED DRLs, large fuel tank with sharp contours, split seats, digital instrument console, LED taillights, split seats, disc brakes, ABS, upside down front forks, rear monoshock, and wide tyres.

Speaking about launch, Indonesian media reports that the Honda CBR250RR will be launched later this year in their country at a starting price of about IDR 60 million (INR 2.70 lakhs). There has been no official word from Honda on the same till date. Honda India too has remained mum, and no plans of India launch have been announced yet.

Honda has stated that the new CBR250RR will set new segment benchmarks. It has been tuned to perform on race tracks as well as on city roads with equal ease. Overall, Honda has developed the CBR250RR to make it the best bike in the segment.
