The most loved Honda on the Indian roads has been the legendary Honda City, which recently completed its 20 year anniversary in India. Till now, Honda has launched 4 generations of the City, the last one being the update in 2014, apart from minor mid-life facelifts like the one in 2017.
Reliable engines, futuristic design, refinement and the brand image which Honda carries, all contributed to the strong sales numbers which the City has managed to clock in the previous calendar year. All 4 gens of the Honda City. In the year 2017, the City contributed to 35% of Honda’s overall car sales in India
2017 saw 62,573 new Honda Citys entering the Indian roads whereas the number for Maruti’s Ciaz was 47,114 units during the same period.
