New Honda City, WRV, BRV Special Edition announced at attractive prices

Honda Cars India is posting their all time high monthly sales. But, that is due to the launch of new Amaze, which is now accountable for about 51% of the total company sales.

Sales of other Honda cars, like the City, WRV, BRV, etc, are on a decline. In order to boost sales of these cars, Honda has now launched special editions of these cars. All three cars are being offered at attractive prices as well.

Speaking about the introduction of these special editions, Mr. Rajesh Goel, SVP & Director, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “With the onset of festive season, we are extremely delighted to offer the special editions of Honda WR-V, Honda City and Honda BR-V. We are confident that these will be appreciated by our customers for the enhanced value they offer.”

Speaking about the 2018 Honda City special edition, this one is called Edge Edtion. It is based on the SV trim, and is offered with additional features like Special Edition Emblem, 15-inch Diamond Cut Alloy Wheel, Rear parking sensors, Rear camera with IRVM display.

Price starts from Rs 9.75 lakh for the petrol MT and Rs 11.1 lakh for the diesel MT. (Ex-Showroom, Delhi prices.) With the launch of updated Maruti Ciaz scheduled for later this month, Honda City will find it difficult to get better sales of the City, which was their best selling car once upon a time, registering about 8,000 units a month. These days, it registers about 3,500 units a month.

Speaking about the next car, Honda BR-V – Style edition, this one too is experiencing a decline in sales. From registering about 3-4,000 units a month, its sales are down to about 500 units a month. The new Special edition BRV is on offer with all trims. It is priced from Rs 10.44 lakhs to Rs 13.74 lakhs, ex-sh, Delhi.

Special Edition BRV comes with Special Edition Emblem, Front Guard, Tailgate Spoiler, Body side moulding and Front & rear bumper protector.

Another hit from Honda, which is now facing low demand, is the WRV. From a consistence 4,000+ sales a month, it has now come down to about 2,500 units a month.

Special edition WRV features Special Edition – Alive Emblem, 16-inch Diamond Cut Alloy Wheel, Rear camera with IRVM display, Rear parking sensors, Premium seat cover with special edition logo, Premium steering wheel cover, Honda Connect (With 1st Month Subscription free). It is only offered on the S Grade. Price starts from Rs 8.02 lakh for petrol and Rs 9.11 lakh for the diesel variant. (ex-show, Delhi)
