New Honda Civic sedan was launched in Thailand earlier this month. Available in four trims, new Civic has now made public debut at the ongoing 2016 Bangkok Motor Show.
The four trims on offer with the new Civic are 1.8E, 1.8EL, Turbo and Turbo RS. Honda Civic Turbo RS (image above) is the top of the line variant. It is powered by Honda’s all-new 1.5 liter turbo engine generating 173 PS and 220 Nm, making it the most powerful Civic on sale in Bangkok.
Honda Civic RS is seen with black grille, new headlamps cluster with LED, sporty casing for the foglight cluster in the front and reflector at the rear, new alloys, floating spoiler, matte silver door handles, aluminium pedals, paddle shifters, rain sensor, all black interiors with leather upholstery, electrically adjustable driver seat, etc.
Alongside the new Civic RS, standard Civic is also on display at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show. Measuring 4,630 mm in length, 1,799 mm in width, 1,416 mm in height, new Honda Civic sits on a wheelbase of 2,698 mm and has a ground clearance of just 125 mm.
Weighing 1,547 kg, power to the entry level variants of Civic is via 1.8 liter iVTEC motor which is rated at 141 PS and 174 Nm, while that to the Turbo RS variant is via 1.5 liter iVTEC turbo generating 173 PS and 220 Nm.

1.8E – 8,69,000 baht (INR 16.5 lakh)
1.8EL – 9,59,000 baht (INR 18.3 lakh)
1.5 Turbo – 10,99,000 baht (INR 20.9 lakh)
1.5 Turbo RS – 11,99,000 baht (INR 22.8 lakh)
