Honda dealers are offering attractive discount schemes and exchange bonuses on a range of models so as to clear out stocks and boost sales. Except for the recently launched Honda Civic, CR-V and Accord Hybrid, each of the models in the company lineup of MY18 and MY19 are being offered at discounts through the month of April.
Honda Brio – Discount upto Rs 24,000 : Even as the Honda Brio has been pulled out of production following a 17 year stint in the country, the company dealers are still left with stocks of this hatchback which is being offered at a discount and benefits upto Rs.24,000. Regaled as one of the most loved hatchbacks in the country, the Brio is powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine offering 88 hp power mated to a manual or automatic gearbox. Honda Brio was launched in September 2011 and to date a total of 97,000 units have been sold. Buyer’s preference to larger cars is one of the reasons why this hatchback has been discontinued.
Honda Amaze – Discount upto Rs 37,000: Honda Amaze is being offered with exchange bonus and extended warranty through the month of April offering buyers benefits upto Rs.37,000. The Amaze is being offered with extended warranty for 4th and 5th year with Rs 20,000 exchange bonus along with best value of an old car. Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2 liter petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engine mated to manual or CVT. The compact sedan has contributed efficiently to company sales up 936% in March 2019 when 7,419 units of the subcompact sedan were sold and when compared to the same month last year. The Honda Amaze competes against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford Aspire and Hyundai Xcent.
Honda Jazz- Discount upto Rs 45,000: Benefits on the Honda Jazz premium hatchback through April extends upto Rs.45,000. This also consists of exchange bonus and insurance of Re.1. The Honda Jazz is powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine offering 100 hp peak power and 1.5 liter diesel engine. The new Honda Jazz has been spied testing and is expected to be revealed later this year before arriving in the market in 2020.
Honda WR-V – Discount upto Rs 45,000: Benefits and discounts extend upto Rs.45,000 for the Honda BR-V which is being offered with free insurance. The WR-V is based on the Jazz and the MPV gets its power via a 1.5 liter i-DTEC and 1.2 liter i-VTEC engine offering best in class fuel efficiency.
Honda City – Discount upto Rs 57,000: Dealers are also keen to clear out stocks of the Honda City and hence offering benefits and exchange bonus upto Rs. 57,000 and insurance at Re.1 on this mid size sedan. The Honda City is powered by a 1.5 liter petrol engine offering 119 hp power and a 1.5 liter diesel engine offering 100 hp power. The Honda City was introduced in January 2014 and received a mid-life facelift in 2017. The new 2020 Honda City is in the making, expected to be launched by March 2020.
Honda BR-V – Discount upto Rs 95,000: The more expensive model in the company lineup, Honda BR-V is being offered at a higher discount of Rs.95,000. This is in the form of exchange bonus, accessories and insurance at Re. 1. Honda BR-V is powered by a 1.5 liter petrol engine offering 119 hp power and 1.5 liter diesel engine offering 100 hp power. The petrol engine is mated to a CVT while the diesel engine gets a 6 speed manual gearbox.
