New Honda Grazia automatic scooter was launched today in India. Priced from Rs 57,897 (ex-showroom Delhi), this new scooter is powered by the same 125 cc single cylinder engine which also powers the Activa 125.
Then what is so special about the new Honda Grazia? Well, Honda says that it has to be the modern, youthful and sharp design of the scooter, which is accentuated by the LED Headlamp (Industry first). Yes, not only the Grazia is first Honda scooter to feature a LED headlamp, it is also the first in the industry to do so.
Apart from its new styling, highlights of Honda Grazia include All Digital Instrumentation, 3 Step Eco Speed Indicator, Combi Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer, Four in One lock with Seat Opener Switch and Unique Utility pocket with cover and mobile charging socket.
Braking is via 190 mm disc in the front and 130 mm drum at the rear. You also have the option of buying non-disc brake version. In the front it has 12 inch wheels, while at the rear it has 10 inch wheels. The engine delivers 8.5 HP power and 10.5 Nm torque. It has a top speed of 85 kmph. Speaking about engine and power, during today’s launch event, when the CEO of HMSI tried to switch on the LED headlamp, there was some confusion between him and his colleague, which resulted in the Honda Grazia doing a wheelie on launch stage. Luckily, no one was injured during this. This was captured on video below.
