2015 Honda Jazz for Europe revealed in production ready guise

Back in September last year, Honda unveiled the third generation Jazz for Europe as a prototype. Now, they have unveiled the production variant of 2015 Honda Jazz for Europe with official photos and details.

Honda has spruced up its popular Jazz hatchback giving it increased interior space, attractive new design and a host of on board safety and performance features. To compete with Nissan Note, Hyundai i20, Toyota Verso and VW Polo once launched, third generation Honda Jazz will be seen with better quality interiors. Top spec Honda Jazz will get an optional touchscreen. Along with this, smartphone interface with Android operating system will also be on offer to give drivers minute by minute weather and traffic updates.

Overall, 2015 Honda Jazz retains the same shape while slight modifications are made at the rear and sculpted sides. It will be powered by a 102 bhp 1.3 liter petrol i-VTEC engine from Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology, mated to an automatic or manual gearbox. It is unlikely that Honda will be releasing a diesel engined Jazz in Europe. Honda claims that the new Jazz comes with enhanced suspension and handling, increased performance and higher level of fuel efficiency.

Sitting on a new global B segment chassis, the 2015 Honda Jazz will boast of added interior space. It will be fitted with 60:40 split Magic Seat System offering a host of configurations for both passenger comforts and enhancement of cargo space while head and leg room will be at a premium yet to be seen on a car of its class.

2015 Honda Jazz will receive a new damper system so as to reduce in-car vibrations while an electric power assisted steering system ensures better driver feedback. Safety features include Advanced Driver Assist System package with camera and mid range radar while Honda has fitted with new Jazz with Intelligent Speed Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition system, and High-beam Support System besides Honda’s City-Brake Active system, are included along with ABS, and Airbags.
