Honda Jazz bookings open, road-show starts in Malaysia

2014 Honda Jazz is slated for launch in Malaysia by the end of this month. Bookings have already commenced and Honda Malaysia is even running a contest where buyers booking the Jazz on or prior to July 15 will stand a chance to win a trip to the Maldives.

Honda Jazz MalaysiaHonda is accepting orders for three variants of third generation Jazz 1.5 E, 1.5 S and 1.5 V with the company even arranging for 2.53% finance. The company has been promoting the Jazz all this month via road shows and the model was even spotted parked outside a Mall in Selangor, Malaysia.

honda jazz thailandThe new Honda Jazz will receive a 1.5 liter SOHC i-VTEC engine producing 120 PS peak power at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm peak torque at 4,600 rpm. This engine will be mated to a Honda Earth Dreams CVT gearbox also seen on board the new Honda City. Abounding in safety features, Honda Jazz top end variant will receive a total of six airbags, VSA stability control, Emergency Start/Stop facility and Hill Stop Assist. Price will be revealed on launch date.

Honda Jazz Road ShowHonda Jazz premium hatchback will be making its way to India early 2015. Jazz already made its India debut at the the 2014 Auto Expo. Once launcehd, it will come in to compete with Maruti Suzuki Swift, VW Polo and Hyundai i20. Price in India will be much more competitive as compared to the older gen variant, as Honda India will increase localization levels.

honda jazz interiorsJazz also made its way to the US, where pricing stands at- 2014 Honda Jazz VTi manual is priced at $14,990 (INR 9,00,156), the VTi CVT comes with a price tag of $16,990 (INR 10,19,824) while VTi-S CVT is priced at $19,790 (INR 11,87,894)and range topping VTi-L CVT $22,490 (INR 13,50,389).
