Honda has announced launch of its new motorcycle on July 10 and the teaser points towards the new premium commuter that’s been in the news of late.

Honda Livo teaser launch date

HMSI is all set to launch Livo on July 10.

The commuter features a sporty fuel tank with edgy extensions. Going by the earlier spotting, Livo gets a bikini fairing, new twin hexagonal instrument pods and a bodywork that has no similarities with the model it will be replacing.

Technical details are under wraps but we don’t expect to see anything significantly new as the company is looking to harness the benefits of economies of scale. A diamond frame chassis would hold the bike together while conventional telescopic front fork and twin coil spring rear shocks constitute the suspension system.

Honda CB Twister

Livo is expected to replace CB Twister.

The familiar 110 cc engine is the viable candidate to propel the new commuter. In CB Twist, the motor churns out 9 bhp and 8.97 Nm of torque and is mated to a 4-speed transmission. Efficiency enhancing HET (Honda Eco Technology) willl be incorporated.

With an estimated price range of INR 50,000 – 55,000 (ex-showroom), new Honda Livo will take on the likes of Mahindra Centuro, TVS Start City+, Hero Passion Pro, etc.
