To be launched in India in the coming weeks, Honda Cars India is leaving no stone unturned where pre-launch marketing activity for the new Mobilio is concerned. From showcasing the car at malls across India to this new innovative TVC, Honda seems to be getting the attention of their target consumers for Mobilio quite well.
Mobilio is a seven seater MPV which will be launched with both petrol and diesel engine options. Petrol engine is expected to be a 1.2l iVTEC motor while the diesel version will get India’s most fuel efficient engine, 1.5l iDTEC. Both these engines are the same one’s which are seen on Honda Amaze compact sedan.
A 7 seater, price range for new Mobilio is expected to be in the Rs 6-9 lakh segment, making it a direct rival to segment leader Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. As far as mileage is concerned, Honda Mobilio petrol is expected to deliver 18 kmpl, while diesel will deliver 23+ kmpl.
