Honda NAVi teased

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has promised to launch multiple new motorcycles and scooters in 2016.

India’s second largest two wheeler manufacturer has released a few teaser images, indicating at what could be the name of their new scooter / motorcycle or a new engine technology. The image above you see, is how Honda wished their fans and followers New Year. Instead of writing ‘New’, Honda has written ‘NAVi’ in a new font. This lays enough emphasis on the word ‘NAVi’. (‘Navi’ in Gujarati language means ‘New’. Gujarat is where their new plant is to be commissioned this month.)

We believe Honda NAVi is the name of either a new product from HMSI or that of a new engine technology. Whatever it is, Honda has confirmed that it will debut at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo on 3rd February 2016.

Largest manufacturer of scooters, Honda is aiming at also becoming the largest manufacturer of motorcycles in India, a position which is currently held by their old friends, Hero MotoCorp. As of now, Honda has a total of five scooters and eleven motorcycles on offer (excluding superbikes).

Their motorcycle portfolio includes CBR 250R, CBR 150R, CB Unicorn 160, CB Shine SP, CB Hornet 160R, CB Shine, Dream Yuga, Dream Neo, CB 110 Dream, Livo, and CB Trigger. Their scooter portfolio includes Activa 125, Activa 3G, Dio, Aviator, and Activa i.
