HMSI has thus far trained 1.2 lakh people through Honda traffic park safe riding modules. Yadvinder S. Guleria says Honda observed that a large number of women were willing to learn riding in a safe and organized set-up. Over 2000 women opted for safe two-wheeler riding training within 22 days in Delhi. Children are great ambassadors of road safety in a family setup.
Honda looks to offer Lifetime Safety Education to all at its Chandigarh Honda traffic park with special focus on women and children.

Training at Honda Children traffic training park replicates real-life riding conditions in a secure environment. Practical riding experience with theoretical knowledge of correct riding posture and techniques, traffic signs and rules are a focus area for expert Honda Safety instructors (both women and men).

Honda Proprietary riding trainer (virtual riding simulator) lets those above 13 years of age to experience upward of 100 possible road dangers before beginning to ride at an appropriate age. The virtual experience increases a rider’s their ability to predict and react to traffic hazards.

The younger lot between 9-12 years, can get on a Honda CRF 50 motorcycle to relate to safe riding through practical riding at the park. Women safety instructors will help women on their journey in becoming independent riders.
