Horse loses cool due to heat – Crashes into a car’s AC cabin
Onlookers and forest department officials managed to rescue the horse which was taken out through the car door.
Bystanders on the road in the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan were witness to a rather unique accident which occurred on Sunday afternoon at 1.30 pm.
Pankaj Joshi, a businessman, who owns an event management firm, was in his car and was suddenly surprised to find a horse coming crashing through the windshield to land into the seat next to him. The horse then got stuck in the car causing injuries to both itself and Joshi.
The horse was pulling a tonga and went berserk due to the heat which was at 42 degrees Celsius that day coupled with loud honking of other vehicles on the road. The horse broke the harness and crashed into the car.
Joshi had just started the car at the Jaipur’s Civil Lines area when the incident occurred. This unique accident drew the attention of a lot of people in the area who tried their best to rescue the poor animal. The horse was stuck inside the car for about 10 minutes and was eventually rescued by onlookers and forest department officials.
The horse was given first aid by veterinarians later while Joshi sustained injuries on both his hands.
