With the launch of new Honda City diesel, there is no doubt that the sales of Hyundai Verna are going to be affected. In order to maintain it’s numero uno status in the segment, Hyundai has launched the new trim variant.
To be offered in a choice of 1.4l diesel and petrol engines, features of the new Verna CX variant include park assist, rear view camera display on the rear view mirror, ABS, new alloys, electric ORVMs (outside rear view mirrors), driver airbag, disc brakes on all four wheels, and steering mounted audio controls.
To accommodate their new variant in the line-up, Hyundai has made some some changes to the existing setup. The 1.4 EX trim with petrol and diesel engines have been stopped. The 1.6 EX trim now does not have automatic transmission option, for both petrol and diesel. 1.6 SX(O) petrol too will not feature an automatic. If you are looking for automatic transmission, you will find it in the mid-level SX trim.
