Hyundai Motors India, like the other automakers in the country, have been going through a slowdown extended over the past many months. The company recently entered the compact SUV segment with the Venue which has been noting good demand but its other models such as the Santro, Grand i10, Xcent, Verna, Elantra and Tucson have been not doing so well. Left with piling stocks at company showrooms, the automaker has extended discount schemes and exchange offers to the month of August 2019.

The Hyundai Santro is being offered at a cash discount of Rs.15,000 and a Rs.20,000 exchange bonus. If the buyer is exchanging either the older Santro or Eon, then this exchange bonus extends to Rs.30,000.

The Hyundai Santro recently underwent a price hike with the line-up that now starts at Rs. 4.15 lakhs for the base trim, Rs.25,000 higher than the older pricing. It also saw the entry level D-Lite and Era variants discontinued.
