Hyundai India has updated the Creta SUV with new color scheme options and interior trims. Hyundai Creta Earth Brown paintjob and minor updates from the South Korean automaker comes just days prior to official launch of the Renault Captur on November 6, 2017. Both cars will go head on in the Indian market.

Updated Hyundai Creta Earth Brown paint is offered on both single and dual tone variants. It seems Red Passion with Phantom Black color scheme will no longer be on offer. Besides Earth Brown, the Hyundai Creta SUV is being presented in 7 color schemes and 1 dual tone scheme. The new shade is available in single tone and dual-tone (Earth Brown + Phantom Black) choices. Hyundai Creta Earth Brown replaces Pearl Beige. the new dual-tone versions combination of Luxure Brown Interior includes orange-brown highlights to seat fabric, steering wheel and leather-wrapped gear lever. Contrast stitching stays. The move is clearly geared to up the premium appeal of Creta interiors.

Hyundai has also updated interiors of the SX+ dual tone variants. These include a Luxure Brown pack with beige seat fabric and brown inserts along with contrasting stitching. Brown accents are also seen on gear knob and the steering wheel gets leather wrapped in brown. The silent update compliments the updated 2017 Creta variant, which houses a 7-inch infotainment system.

No mechanical changes are seen on the Hyundai Creta Earth Brown SUV, which is powered by a 1.4 litre/1.6 litre diesel engine, are a 1.6 litre petrol engine. The 1.4 litre diesel offers 90 hp power and 220 Nm torque and the 1.6 liter diesel is capable of 128 hp power and 260 Nm torque. The 1.6 litre petrol offers 123 hp power and 151 Nm torque with all engines mated to 6 speed manual transmission or 6 speed automatic transmission options.
