Hyundai Creta given Range Rover SUV look by owner for just Rs 4,000

Hyundai Creta is one of the most loved SUV in the country and no wonder it is the one which is getting numerous customizations and makeovers. Recently we had reported about a Creta owner who had modified his pre-facelift Creta to look like the 2018 Creta. And now a Creta which has been modified to look like a Range Rover has caught our attention.

The Creta seems to belong to an owner who is based out of Kerala. The SUV looks intimidating with a Range Rover like grille and even has the Range Rover badge at the front to make it look more authentic. The headlights too get an LED treatment and so do the fog lamps.

The car also features black alloy wheels which look interesting. However, once you move to the side, it clearly reveals its true identity as there are no changes to the sheet metal. Though the video misses out on the interiors, it is safe to presume that the owner would have tried to personalize the cabin for himself/herself as well.

The video has been posted by a user who goes by the alias of ‘Modified Cars’. The cost of modifying the grille is about Rs 4,000. And if you also want to install LED headlights, cost of that is extra. However, the user has mentioned that he got the grille from Range Rover’s showroom in Qatar.

Talking about the 2018 Creta, it is available with 3 engine options, 2 diesel and a petrol. The update has brought in multiple additional features like panoramic sunroof and cruise control, which were missing in the previous version. You may read more about it here in our detailed review of the 2018 Creta here.

Creta currently competes with the likes of Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV500 and Renault Captur. The space is about to face increased competition once Maruti launches its Vitara and SUVs from Kia and MG Motors join in to grab a piece of the pie.
