If the leaked document is anything to go by, Hyundai Creta prices are considerably higher than those of rival Renault Duster. However, the higher variant-to-variant price tags are justified by more standard features and higher power outputs on the Hyundai.
Following prices are tentative and ex-showroom. Hyundai Creta 1.6 VTVT entry level petrol variant starts at INR 9.13 lakhs as against Duster petrol variants price of INR 8.35 lakhs. The top-end petrol SX+ variant would be priced at INR 11.78 lakhs.
Coming to diesel variants which are expected to contribute to high sales volumes, the base variant with 1.4-litre CRDI engine would be priced just shy of INR 10 lakh mark while the fully loaded 1.4-litre variant would set you back by nearly INR 12 lakhs.
The range-topping 1.6-litre CRDI diesel variants are reported to have a price range of INR 12.14 – 14.24 lakhs. The automatic diesel variant which is available in SX+ would retail for INR 14.18 lakhs.
Hyundai Creta has garnered around 10,000 confirmed purchase interests since the teaser campaign commenced a few weeks ago apart from receiving 28,500 enquiries. The South Korean automaker is looking to make most of the buzz around its new crossover during this festive season.
