Hyundai India announced the launch of new Elantra sedan today. It is priced from Rs 15.9 lakhs for the base variant and goes all the way to Rs 20.4 lakhs for the top variant. Only 2 liter petrol engine is on offer, diesel engine is not on offer.
Petrol engine is a BS6 compliant unit, and comes mated to either a 6 speed manual transmission or a 6 speed automatic transmission. This 2 liter engine delivers 152 PS power and 192 Nm of torque. Mileage claimed by both transmission options is 14.6 kmpl (ARAI certified).
