Celebration Edition of Hyundai Elite i20 has been launched to mark the first anniversary of the car. Launched in August last year, Hyundai Elite i20 is the best selling car in the segment today.
Visual differences from the regular model include a glossy black roof wrap, blacked out pillars, new 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, side body decals and a special edition badge at the rear. Inside, elements like sporty pedals, exclusive upholstery with Celebration Edition branding, etc., are expected to be seen. We could also see addition of new features to the package.
To be based on the mid-level Sportz trim, Hyundai Elite i20 Celebration Edition production is limited to only 600 units. Price of the petrol variant starts from Rs 6.69 lakhs, while that of the diesel variant starts from Rs 7.84 lakhs. All prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi. In Sportz trim, Elite i20 petrol and diesel variants retail at INR 6.39 lakhs and INR 7.54 lakhs respectively (both prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The petrol version is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder motor which puts out 83 PS and 115 Nm of torque when mated to a 5-MT while the diesel version gets a 1.4-litre unit which is capable of 90 PS and 220 Nm of torque when matched to a 6-MT.
