Hyundai besides offering a total of 1,021 cars and SUVs have also presented 32 buses to be used to ferry teams to the official handover ceremony being held at Arena de Sao Paulo. These buses will be bedecked with national team colors, flags and winning slogans of ‘Be there with Hyundai’ competition. This competition is being run by Hyundai Motors calling for participation from all fans across the globe. Each bus will also be escorted by a specially decorated Grand Santa Fe model as a special privilege.
Besides supplying this fleet of cars and buses, the company will also have on hand a complete service team at each of the World Cup stadiums so as to deliver the best of service and assistance. Prior to the commencement of the matches, the Hyundai service team has also trained over 1000 drivers, making them adept with each of the Hyundai models on hand, while also imparting maintenance and safe driving techniques to them.
Brazils very own football star Kaka is the Hyundai brand ambassador along with Spain’s keeper Iker Casillas.

Hyundai Motor delivers 1,021 premium sedans, SUVs and vans to be used as official tournament transportation, and decorates the 32 official national team buses with the slogans of the ‘Be there with Hyundai’ competition
June 4, 2014 – With just nine days to go before the first kick off, Hyundai Motor Company – Official Partner of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ – delivered over one thousand vehicles for the ground transportation of the world’s biggest sporting event in Brazil. The automotive manufacturer also unveiled the branding decorations of the 32 buses that will transport the teams of the qualified nations.
Hyundai Motor held an official handover ceremony for the cars at Arena de Sao Paulo, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to deliver the branded team buses and the 1,021 sedans and vans including the Equus, Genesis, Azera, Santa Fe, Sonata, Tucson (ix35), Veloster, H1, H100 and Brazil-exclusive HB20. The vehicles will ensure the smooth operation of the global event, transporting FIFA officials, national teams, members of the organising committee, referees and media representatives throughout the tournament.

The 32 team buses are vibrantly decorated with national team colours, flags and the winning slogans of the ‘Be There With Hyundai’ competition – a unique global initiative run by Hyundai Motor that encouraged participation from fans all around the world. Furthermore, each bus will be escorted by a specially-decorated Grand Santa Fe, Hyundai Motor’s leading SUV model, as part of the company’s exclusive sponsorship privileges.
In addition to the delivery of cars, Hyundai Motor will operate a complete Service Team at all World Cup Stadiums and FIFA facilities. This will ensure the best service support and assistance to drivers and fleet of cars during the entire event. Prior to the delivery, HMB’s Service Team trained over 1,000 drivers to become familiar with each model, as well as learn about maintenance, safe driving techniques and routes.
