Hyundai Grand i10 LPG launch price Rs 4.96 lakhs

Following successful launch of Hyundai Grand i10 in September 2013, and Hyundai i10 Sportz LPG and Magna +, Hyundai has now introduced Grand i10 LPG. Positioned between company’s i20 and the i10, the new Grand i10 LPG is priced from INR 4,96,034 – ex showroom Delhi and comes in with a powerful 1.0 Kappa petrol engine.

Infotainment comes in the form of a double DIN audio system with 1 GB internal memory, Bluetooth connectivity and AUX-In and USB connectivity. Safety features such as rear parking sensors and electric ORVMs are also seen on this model.

Grand i10 LPG will not get the 1.2l Kappa engine which powers the petrol variant, instead it will get the smaller Euro V compliant, 998cc Kappa petrol engine with Dual VTVT technology. High in performance but low in fuel consumption and auto emissions, this 1.0 liter three cylinder engine is capable of 68 bhp peak power and 94 Nm peak torque while being mated to a five speed manual transmission. Two trims are on offer, Magna Solid and Magna Metallic, priced at Rs 4.96 lakhs anr Rs 5.00 lakhs respectively.

It is this same engine that is seen on board the Eon 1.0l which was launched earlier this year at a price of INR 3.83 lakhs. Grand i10 LPG according to ARAI certification is able to deliver fuel efficiency of 20.3 kmpl. Petrol variant mileage is claimed at 18.9 kmpl. Base price of Grand i10 starts from Rs 4.34 lakhs. All prices above are ex-showroom Delhi.
