Hyundai i20 Cross is spied at a dealership, probably for delivery on launch date (17th March, 2015). There are no reports of bookings being commenced, but the car will most likely start rolling out of showrooms from the date.Hyundai i20 Active stands with 20 mm added ground clearance, measuring 190 mm. The crossover by looks benefits from a range of cosmetic touch ups, making the car look more macho than the regular hatchback variant. This includes new bumpers, fog lamps, alloy wheels, roof rails and the like. Even interiors are revamped, with sport pedal set and special dashboard colour schemes. Dashboard is either full black with orange trims or dual-tone Blue and black for some i20 Active body colours.
Notable features in Hyundai i20 Active include projector head lamps, cornering lights, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), music system with bluetooth connectivity, steering wheel mounted multi-function buttons and numerous storage facilities inside the cabin.
Expected to launch in four variants, the i20 Active will host a 1.2 litre petrol engine and a 1.4 litre diesel motor, mated to 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmission systems respectively. Both engines have same power and torque specifications, but is claimed by the company to offer better access to torque, enhancing the pull by 6 percent in petrol and 11 percent in diesel variants.
