2015 Hyundai Verna facelift is being tested with the company hoping to draw back attention to this C segment sedan which has seen the launch of new Honda City and Maruti Ciaz in 2014.
The new Hyundai Verna is also expected to receive a 6 speed automatic transmission from the Elantra, as against the 4 speed auto box from the current Verna. Manual gearbox will remain same as seen on current Verna. Apart from this, 2015 Verna facelift exteriors will sport revised tail lights with LEDs, a redesigned front grille and bumper besides new headlight cluster design.
2015 Hyundai Verna facelift will also have better quality materials on the inside. Engine will remain same as current Verna, with 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine options. There might also be tweak in suspension settings to handle the Indian roads better.
Hyundai Elite i20 Cross is also being tested so as to launch in H2 2015. Sitting on new alloy wheels, new i20 Cross will get roof rails, projector headlights with LED DRLs and extensive body cladding, all to make it look sporty.
Hyundai’s Elite i20 Cross will be powered by the same engines seen on the hatchback to include a 1.2 liter petrol engine offering 82 hp power and 114.7 Nm torque and 1.4 liter diesel engine offering 89 hp power and 220 Nm torque.

Elite i20 will find a host of competitors when it lands on Indian shores. At an expected price of INR 6.5-8 lakhs, the Hyundai Elite i20 will compete with Fiat Avventura, Volkswagen Cross Polo, and Toyota Etios Cross.
