Hyundai Creta wins Indian Car Of The Year

For last three consecutive years (CRETA, Elite i20 and Grand i10 as ICOTY 2016, 2015 and 2014 respectively.), Hyundai cars have been winning the prestigious Indian Car of The Year Award.

For the month of March 2016, the company registered sales of 41,201 units, which is a growth of 4.2% as against 39,525 units sold in the month of March 2015. Exports for the month stood at 10,251 units as against 10,215 units, growing at 0.4%.

The company owes this success in the domestic market to innovative new-generation cars like the Creta, i20 and the Grand i10. All three of which have become a huge success in the country.

Hyundai’s market share in the country too is at an all-time high of 17%. The company aims to increase this number by 1% every year in their long-term goal of becoming the largest car manufacturer in the country. As of now Maruti Suzuki is the largest car maker in India with a market share of 47%.
