From the brochure scan above, you can see the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brasil logo. Hyundai is the Official Automotive Partner of 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The car will also be launched in Europe, where it will compete with the likes of Ford EcoSport, Dacia Duster, Renault Captur, Peugeot 2008, Honda Vezel and a few more. When launched in India, the ix25 will compete with Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, and Nissan Terrano.

As far as design cues of the new Hyundai ix25 is concerned, it embodies the global Hyundai Fluidic Style. The front is sharer and looks bigger, thanks to the new dual tone bumper with fog light casing. Headlights feature LEDs while the front grille reminds of Hyundai Santa Fe. Though the brochure does not reveal interiors, an interior spy shot from the past shows Santa Fe styled interiors.

Engine options are still under wraps, but expect the ix25 to be on offer with a choice of both petrol and diesel engine options in India. For petrol, there is already the 1.4l mill generating 100 bhp, while for diesel they have the 1.4l generating 90 PS power and 210 Nm torque. More information will be revealed once the car is officially unveiled in a few hours. Stay tuned to Rush Lane.
