Hyundai Motors replace top official in India
Hyundai Motor India Limited has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director. Mr. Bo Shin Seo took on his duties as the new Managing Director of Hyundai Motor India Limited from March 5th 2012. Mr. Seo earlier held position of Executive Director Production for a period of two years and steps in to take the place of Mr. Han Woo Park who will now be the new Chief Financial Officer of Kia Motors and based in Korea.
Mr. Seo has also been Production Head at Hyundai Alabama Plant in the US and is now eager to take on new responsibilities in this latest post as Managing Director of one of the country’s major auto manufacturing companies. Mr. Park who has been in India for the past 9 years said that he thankful to HMIL for all that he has learnt during his tenure and is sure that the company will prosper under leadership of the new Managing Director, Mr. Seo.

New Delhi, 5th March 2012: Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter announced today the appointment of Mr. Bo Shin Seo as the new Managing Director of HMIL with effect from March 5, 2012. Prior to his elevation as managing director Mr. Seo was Executive Director Production — a position he has held for the two years.
Mr. Seo, takes over from Mr. Han Woo Park who returns to Korea as Chief Financial Officer of Kia Motors.
“I look forward to taking Hyundai Motor India to newer heights and working closely with the extended Hyundai family,” Mr.Seo said.
Speaking about his tenure in India Mr Park said, “I have lived 9 years in India, my long association with HMIL has provided me with an immense amount of learning. I am confident that HMIL will go from strength to strength under Mr. Seo’s leadership,”
Mr. Seo is an engineer by training, in his distinguished career he has been Hyundai’s Production Head at its state-of-the-art Alabama plant in the USA.
