The company has introduced several safety and hygiene protocols across all touchpoints in India

As the lockdown is being gradually lifted and businesses are slowly but surely resuming operations, Hyundai Motors India Limited has also opened up its showrooms and services centers. The company is taking every possible precaution to arrest the spread of COVID-19 within its premises with a series of safety measures to be followed.

Customers are advised to book their service appointments online and opt for digital payment facilities. There is also the pickup and drop service facility wherein the cars will be fully sanitized at the time of pick up and again while dropping them off at the customer’s premises. All employees will be thoroughly screened with thermal thermometers and all keys and touchpoints will be sanitized while social distancing will be maintained at all times.

The health, safety and wellbeing of every Hyundai employee, dealer and their families are of prime importance to the company and necessary action has been taken on all these fronts. Below is the new video shared by Hyundai, which details the new procedures in place to protect everyone.

To help the Government of India in its fight against this deadly pandemic, Hyundai has also announced the ‘Corona Warriors Camp’. This camp will run from 20th to 31st May at all Hyundai Workshops and will offer various service offerings as a token of gratitude towards the frontline personnel and health officials such as doctors, nurses and paramedics besides the police and government officials who are fighting this coronavirus pandemic.

These professions will be given priority service, complementary check of AC system, top wash and high touchpoint sanitization services. There will be discounts on offer for cabin sanitization, purchase of air purifiers and roadside assistance along with extended warranty. Special discounts are also being extended by Hyundai India to medical professions on purchase of new Hyundai cars.

Two days ago, Hyundai also officially launched the 2020 Hyundai Verna at Rs.9.30 lakhs. This new Verna is presented in five variants with a total of 12 segment first features and gets its power via 1.5 liter Gamma petrol, a 1.0 liter turbo GDI petrol and 1.5 liter CRDi diesel engine options.

Proportions stay similar to that of the outgoing model but exterior updates include redesigned LED headlamps, R16 dual tone steel wheels and new diamond cut alloys. Interiors receive 12 segment first features among which are Blue Link connectivity, ventilated seating in the front, digital cluster with 10.67 cm colour TFT MID, an 8” infotainment system, electric sunroof, wireless phone charger, Smart Trunk, Arkamys sound system, Driver Rear View Monitor (DRVM), ECO coating and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
