With the recent price hike, Hyundai Creta, Venue and Alcazar are now dearer to prospective buyers by up to Rs. 7,000
There has been a development about Hyundai cars that affects buyers right away. We’re talking about a price hike. Hyundai SUV prices have been increased by up to Rs 13,000 from 1st April 2023. Not all variants get the same hike. Let’s break it down to see how much increment Hyundai has allotted to different variants.
Creta Price Hike April 2023
Taking Creta first, the price increment ranges between Rs. 0 – 7,000. For starters, petrol variants like 1.4 DCT S+ DT, 1.5 MT SX Executive, 1.4 DCT SX (O) and diesel variants like 1.5 MT SX Executive don’t get any price hike at all. Now that we have that out of the way, base E, EX, S, S+ Knight and SX variants with 1.5L MPi petrol engine with a 6-speed MT, get a flat Rs. 3,000 increment.
However, all the petrol variants with 1.5L MPi and IVT powertrain combo like 1.5 IVT SX, 1.5 IVT SX (O) and 1.5 IVT SX (O) Knight, get Rs. 7,000 increments. With the new price hikes, Creta petrol range now starts from Rs. 10.87 lakh, as opposed to 10.84 lakh before, and goes till Rs. 18.34, same as before.
For diesel variants of Creta, only 1.5 MT SX Executive variant doesn’t get any hike. Apart from that, every other diesel variant gets a flat Rs. 7,000 increment. Now diesel variants pricing starts from Rs. 11.96 lakh, as opposed to Rs. 11.89 lakh, and goes till Rs. 19.20 lakh, as opposed to Rs. 19.13 lakh. Percentage increment for Creta ranges between 0.0% and 0.59% for base 1.5 MT E diesel variant.
Alcazar and Tucson Price Hike April 2023
Price increment for Hyundai Alcazar is pretty straightforward. In this sense, all petrol and diesel variants of Alcazar get a flat Rs. 3,000 increment. Percentage increment ranges between 0.14% for 1.5 7DCT Signature diesel and 0.18% for 2.0 MT Prestige petrol variant. Speaking about Tucson, the flagship Hyundai SUV on offer, it has got a price hike in the range of Rs 12,000 to Rs 13,000.
Venue & Venue N Line Price Hike April 2023
Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line both get some amount of price hikes, unlike Creta where four variants were exempt. Starting with Venue petrol, base E 1.2 MT, S 1.2 MT, S (O) 1.2 MT and S (O) 1.0 iMT get a uniform Rs. 3,000 price hike. Only SX 1.2 MT and SX (O) 1.0 iMT get Rs. 4,000 price hike.
Automatic variants with a DCT gearbox like S (O) 1.0 DCT and SX (O) 1.0 DCT receive a price hike of Rs. 7,000. Percentage increment for Venue petrol ranges between 0.29% for S (O) 1.0 iMT and 0.62% for S (O) 1.0 DCT variants. Petrol Venue prices now start from Rs. 7.71 lakh as opposed to Rs. 7.68 lakh.
With Venue diesel, only S+ 1.5 MT gets Rs. 6,000 hike, while SX 1.5 MT and SX (O) 1.5 MT variants get a price hike of Rs. 7,000. Percentage increment for Venue diesel ranges between 0.54% and 0.58%. In essence, Venue diesel price range now starts at Rs. 10.46 lakh as opposed to Rs. 10.40 lakh. With Venue N Line, there is a flat Rs. 7,000 increment as they both get DCT gearbox only. Venue N Line entry-level N6 DCT variant now costs Rs. 12.67 lakh as opposed to Rs. 12.60 lakh. All prices mentioned in this post are ex-sh.
