Hyundai RN30 Concept sets the pulse racing in Paris – Photos

Hyundai N Concept RN30 is based on the third generation i30 five door hatchback.

Showcased at the ongoing Paris Motor Show, Hyundai RN30 Concept has been conceptualized, designed, and brought to life by Hyundai Motorsport, Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center and Performance Development & High-Performance Vehicle Division.

The company has enumerated a few styling cues of the motorsport-inspired Hyundai RN30 Concept, a production version of which, the first high-performance Hyundai hatch under their new N branding, is expected to be launched next year. Once launched, it is expected to be christened as Hyundai i30 N.

As against the road worthy i30, Hyundai N Concept RN30 boasts of a wider body and track. It gets new flared and vented wheel arches, front splitter, futuristic lighting, lower suspension and high-performance technologies offering a boost in performance and greater driving pleasure.

The N Concept RN30 is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged, four-cylinder petrol engine. The engine is capable of generating 380 PS (374 hp) and 451 Nm which is transferred to all four wheels via a wet-type dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with paddle shifters.
