Hyundai Santro colour options revealed – White Asta top variant spied undisguised

Hyundai will launch the new Santro hatchback in India on October 23, 2018. It will be initially launched at introductory prices, exclusively for the first 50,000 customers. These prices are expected to range between Rs 4.4-6.03 lakhs on-road. Bookings have also been opened at company dealerships at a down payment of Rs 11,100.

Ahead of launch, Hyundai Santro has been spied undisguised for the first time. The images you see here are of the top-end variant. Hyundai has detailed the variants and color options to be offered on the new Santro hatchback. Following its similar signature tallboy stance seen on its earlier counterpart, the new Santro will be available in five variants – Dlite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. Three variants – Dlite, Era and Asta will be offered in petrol MT combination while the Magna and Sportz will get CNG MT and Petrol AMT powertrain options as well.

Exterior color options are also as per variant and are as given below –
1.1 MT Dlite – Start Dust, Polar White and Typhoon Silver
1.1 MT Era – Start Dust, Polar White, Typhoon Silver and Imperial Beige
1.1 MT Magna- Marina Blue, Fiery Red, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Imperial Beige and Diana Green

The new Hyundai Santro will be powered by a 1.1 liter, Epsilon engine capable of 68 bhp power and 99 Nm torque. Keeping in mind new emission norms coming into effect in 2020, the engine will be BS VI compliant and offer fuel efficiency of 20.3 kmpl. There is also a CNG offering with an 8 kg tank, that makes 59PS and 84Nm torque.

The new Santro will compete with the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Celerio, Tata Tiago and Datsun GO. More details will be revealed on 23rd October, when the car makes it official launch.
