Dimensions are also increased marginally as compared to its earlier counterpart and length is now 3,610mm, 45mm longer while increased wheelbase ensures better interior space.

Hyundai wishes to re-capture the entry level hatchback segment and is hence expected to offer the new Santro at prices that range from Rs 3.87 lakhs to Rs 5.35 lakhs. It will get its power via a 1.1 liter petrol engine offering 68 bhp power and 99 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed gearbox while Hyundai will also offer an AMT again as a segment first feature.
