Hyundai to open flagship Motorstudio in Korea next year
Set to be opened in 2017, Hyundai Motorstudio in Goyang is the third such facility following the first Motorstudio in South Korea opened in 2014 and Moscow unit opened in 2015. Spanning 16,719 square meters, the soon to be opened Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang is the largest of all.
Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang will consist of 14 floors. 9 floors are above ground while 4 floors are in the basement. The studio has been designed by Austria’s DMAA (Delugan Meissl Associated Architects) sporting a shaped sky design. The illusion of a floating third floor is due to the extensive use of glass in the makeup of first and second floors.
The studio will offer customers a chance to view Hyundai’s manufacturing process and future developments while it will also sport a theme park for the entertainment of customer’s kids and youngsters besides offering drive themed experiences, service centers and brand shops. The facility will also have food and beverage outlets and spaces for conducting various automotive events.
Hyundai Motors has confirmed that this new studio is set to open in early 2017. It will be Korea’s largest facility offering both automotive and cultural experiences and goes further in the automakers commitment to offer experiences beyond automobiles.
The studio is also a part of Hyundai Motors vision to enrich customers buying experience while demonstrating the process of manufacture. More such exclusive studios are being planned by Hyundai Motors in Govang, Beijing and other leading cities across the globe.
