Hyundai UK is gifting new Tucson to customer no 1 millionth

In celebration of producing their 1 millionth car in UK, Hyundai has introduced a novel campaign to share this milestone with both its loyal customers and enthusiastic social media fans. The Hyundai 1 Million contest will run for 1 million seconds which equates to 11.6 days (starting from 26th Nov). The contest urges fans to nominate their most deserving person who will be handed over a free Hyundai Tucson.

All entries for #Million are to be submitted as text, image or video on Hyundai UK facebook wall (www.facebook.com/hyundaiuk) or on Twitter (@Hyundai_UK) and Instagram (@hyundaiuk) using hashtag #M1LLION. Of all entries received, the winner will be selected and handed over the keys to a 2015 Hyundai Tucson SE painted in an Ara Blue and worth £28,345 ($42,655/INR 28,49,821).

In the UK, Hyundai Tucson is presented in five trim levels that include the S trim going onto the Premium SE trim all priced between £18,695 and £32,345. Hyundai Tucson is offered in a choice of two petrol and three diesel engines, outputs range between 116PS and 185PS.

Earlier this week, Hyundai India too announced a major milestone – achieving 4 million sales since their inception in 1996. But, there is no such offer from Hyundai India to give away a free car or something like that.

Anyways, Hyundai India is also planning launch of the new Tucson. If launched, Tucson will be the third SUV from Hyundai India following SantaFe and Creta. Hyundai India is already producing the Tucson at their plant in Chennai, but only for export.
