After the launch of 2026 Venue in November 2025, Hyundai Motor India Ltd has updated the variant lineup of Venue to launch a new HX5+ trim level. This move shows Hyundai’s commitment to the segment and continual evolution to better itself. The launch price for Hyundai Venue HX5+ trim starts from Rs 9,99,900 (Ex-sh).
The launch of HX5+ trim level could be due to customer feedback that came in since the launch happened in November 2025. Regardless, HX5+ now finds its way into 2026 Venue’s variant lineup, positioned above HX5 and below HX6 trim levels. Let’s take a closer look at what it brings to the table.
Hyundai Venue HX5+ Variant Launch
Launched at a price point of Rs 10 lakh (Ex-sh), new Venue HX5+ variant is powered by a sole powertrain combination. We’re talking about the Kappa 1.2L NA Petrol engine that is capable of generating 82 bhp of peak power and 115 Nm of peak torque, mated to a sole 5-speed Manual gearbox option.
It has to be noted that HX5 is that one trim level which packs the most number of powertrain combinations. With HX5, Hyundai offers Kappa 1.0L Turbo GDi Petrol engine with both 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT options along with CRDi 1.5L Diesel engine with both 6-speed Manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic for the first time.
What HX5+ gets additionally is a host of features and creature comforts, enhancing customer choice and associated value. Notable feature additions include roof rails, quad beam LED headlights, rear window sunshades, wireless charging pad, front centre armrest with a storage underneath, rear washer and wiper and driver’s window auto up/down, among others.
Apart from launching the new Venue HX5+ trim level, Hyundai has also updated HX4 trim level slightly with better equipment. The most notable addition is driver’s side seat height adjust, which was not offered before.
