Dubbed as the 4S Hyundai Fluidic Verna facelift with 4S depicting Style, Safety, Speed and Sophistication, the 2015 Hyundai Verna Facelift will sport 1.4 liter and 1.6 liter petrol and diesel engines. These are the same engine options which are on offer with the old Verna.
Set to compete with Honda City, VW Vento Renault Scala, Nissan Sunny and Maruti Ciaz, 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift receives a redesigned façade with new bonnet design, new headlamps which are larger and swept back while new fog lights are also evident. 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift sits on new diamond cut alloy wheels while at the rear, tail lamp and bonnet shape sees no change and continues from those seen on the current model however, LED strips for illumination on rear bumper are expected.
Interiors of 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift also carries over some of those seen on the present model but gets a new 7” touch screen with navigation, a new music system with 1GB internal memory function and a host of safety features that include 6 airbags, ABS and EBD.
Speaking about engine performance and mileage, Hyundai Verna 1.4l petrol delivers 107 PS power and a mileage of 17.43 kmpl. The 1.6l petrol delivers 123 PS power and 17.01 kmpl for MT and 15.74 kmpl for AT. Hyundai Verna 1.4l diesel delivers 90 PS and 24.8 kmpl, while 1.6l diesel delivers 128 PS power and 23.9 kmpl mileage for MT and 19.08 kmpl for AT. Points to be noted here are, 1.4l variants are only offered in 5 speed MT, while 1.6l variants get option of 6 speed MT or 4 speed AT. Mileage figures above are claimed by the company.
