Hyundai Verna facelift spied, ready for February launch
Hyundai Verna facelift in attractive red colour is spied testing ahead of 2015 February launch, without wearing even a pixel of camouflage. The model was showcased at 2014 Beijing Auto Show and made its market debut in Russia continuing the lineage of Solaris sedan.
Compared to earlier model, new version of Hyundai’s C-segment sedan features completely redesigned front fascia with new twin chrome slat grill, larger & sharper headlamps with projector lights, well pronounced fog lamps with LED DRLs and refurbished bumper. Rear end of Hyundai Verna facelift gets slightly tweaked bumper with integrated reflectors & black lower lip, new chrome slat over number plate recess and brushed up tail lamps lit by LED lights. Apart from these, only other notable change in exterior of new Hyundai Verna is new alloy wheel design.
Engine options in Verna facelift will mostly include the same petrol and diesel engines doing duty in outgoing model. There are four engines on total, 1.4 and 1.6 petrol and diesel motors, producing 89 bhp to 126 bhp max power. Petrol engines are offered with 5-speed manual and diesel mills are mated to 6-speed gearbox.
