India Yamaha Motor Football Team on Malaysia tour to participate in ASEAN Cup U-13 Finals
Fourth Yamaha ASEAN Cup U-13 Finals commence from July 13 to 15, 2012 at Stadium P J Kelana Jaya in Selangor, Malaysia. Indian Yamaha Motor Football Team represented by Michael Nagar Netaji Sangha of Kolkata will be participating in these final events.
Six matches will be held and six teams from 5 Asian countries will be taking part. Teams from India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and two teams from Malaysia will be contending in the under 13 age groups. Teams will be further divided into two groups for a round robin competition and two teams with the highest totals in each group will go on to the final tournament.
Yamaha has been organizing ASEAN Cup U-13 Football tournaments for under 13 football players ever since 2008. The primary aim is to bring players and teams from Asian countries on a common platform and give them an opportunity to improve their skills and bring about international friendship in a sporting atmosphere through sport.

India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Football team has started their tour to battle it out at the fourth Yamaha ASEAN Cup U-13 Finals in Malaysia against 4 other Asian teams. The tournament will be held over the three days from July 13 to 15, 2012 at the Stadium PJ Kelana Jaya in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. Michael Nagar Netaji Sangha from Kolkata will be going to represent India Yamaha Motor football team for the finals in Malaysia.
India Yamaha Motor had organized the second edition of the tournament in India in association with The Indian Football Association (West Bengal). The tournament was held from May 16 to 20, 2012 and witnessed participation from budding football enthusiasts from West Bengal. After a phenomenal victory in India, Michael Nagar Netaji Sangha from Kolkata, will now be representing India Yamaha Motor at the fourth Yamaha ASEAN Cup U-13 Football Finals.
There will be 6 teams from 5 Asian countries namely- India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam & 2 teams from the host country Malaysia, that have won qualifying matches to represent their respective countries fielding players under 13 years of age. The teams will be divided into two groups for round-robin competition and the two teams with the highest point totals in each group (total of four teams) will proceed to the final tournament.

The tournament will see participation from India Yamaha Motor (IYM) for the second time this year. The IYM team from Kolkata was selected among 6 teams from West Bengal, India.
Yamaha has been organizing the YAMAHA ASEAN CUP U-13 FOOTBALL tournament for under-13 football players since 2008. The aim is to bring together players and teams from each country and provide them with an opportunity to improve their competitive skills and build international friendships in a healthy atmosphere that contributes to youth development through sport and the promotion and spread of sports.
