Royal Enfield exports declined by 95 at 344 units, down from 379 units sold in Nov ’13. Domestic sales for Nov ’14 stood at 27198 units over 17752 units in Nov ’13, equating to 53% growth. Overall YTD sales stands at 273957 units over 158808 units sold in 2013 (Jan-Nov), equating to 73% growth.

Indian two wheeler growth continues to outdo other vehicle segments growth in November 2014

TVS Motor Company posted 36% sales growth in November 2014 with 220,046 units sold over 161,908 units in Nov 2013. Total exports grew by 55% with 39,215 units sold in November 2014 over 25,338 units in November 2013. Two wheeler exports grew by 55% with sales at 31,526 units in November 2014 over 20,386 units in November 2013. Total two wheeler sales increased by 36% at 210,979 units sold in November 2014 over 155,604 units sold in Nov 2013. Domestic two wheeler sales grew by 33% with 179,453 units sold in November 2014 over 135,218 units sold in November 2013. TVS scooters sales stood at 62,223 units over 38,331 units in November 2013, equating to 62% growth. Motorcycle sales growth stood at 41% at 86,424 units up from 61,471 units sold in Nov ’13.

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL) sales for November 2014 stood at 14,579 units down from 24,245 units in Nov 2013. Domestic sales stood at 13,052 units down from 23831 units in Nov ’13. Exports stood at 1527 units up from 414 units sold in Nov ’13. Viren Popli, Chief of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheelers is delighted at response to the global scooter, Gusto across North India. As production is ramped, gusto will be launched across India, and in international markets. Mahindra two wheelers expects market share growth in the forthcoming months.

Honda overall sales stood at 372,036 units over 319,082 units at 17% growth vs. 8% growth of Indian two wheeler industry. Honda reports 25% overall growth in April – November, FY’2014-15. HMSI domestic market share is 27%, and Dom + Exp market share is 24%.

Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd.reports 12% domestic sales growth in November 2014 with 44,678 units sold over 39,777 units sold in Nov ’13. Yamaha SZ RR Version 2.0 was launched during the month. Roy Kurian, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd, said 2014 has been a year of recovery for the auto sector. Yamaha is pleased with its November sales growth, having invariably managed to keep growth consistent.

Hero MotoCorp sold over five lakh (547413 units) two-wheeler units in November 2014 over 530530 unit sales equating to 3% growth. Last month, Hero MotoCorp began operations in Colombia with 6 motorcycles through a network of 120 daelerships, which will expand to 150+ outlets in a year’s time.

Bajaj motorcycles sales last month stood at 2,61,948 units down from 2,78,703 units sold in Nov ’13, equating to 6 decline. Total sales stood at 3,09,259 units, down from 3,10,591 units sold in Nov ’13. Of total sales, exports stood at 1,65,733 units over 1,33,731 units exported in Nov ’13, equating to 24% growth, and marking Bajaj’s highest ever exports for any November.
