Maserati’s first SUV Levante showcased in India at a gala event
Maserati Levante is the first ever SUV from the Italian car maker.
Based on the Maserati Kubang Concept which was showcased back at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, new Maserati Levante made its global debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. And finally after about a year, the car has arrived in India.
The first-ever Maserati SUV, Levante has taken about five years to take shape. Based on the same platform as the Ghibli, Levante keeps much of the design similar to the highly impressive Kubang.
Speaking about interiors, they are very similar to that of Ghibli. Highlights include premium leather upholstery and a large touchscreen infotainment system.
Levante’s chassis is designed to combine the outstanding on-road performance typical of every Maserati with unrivalled handling even on very low-grip surfaces and an excellent off-road performance and ride. – Maserati
