Sure not to come into India, the model is being designed exclusively for the Chinese customer. Underneath the ESQ, it is the very same Nissan Juke, which is currently on sale in Europe.

Nissan’s Infiniti ESQ will sport a 4 cylinder, 1.6 liter, turbocharged gasoline engine with 200PS peak power and 250 Nm peak torque sending power to all four wheels via a CVT transmission. To be produced in China by Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture, sales of the Infiniti ESQ are slated to commence immediately after launch. Infiniti ESQ is a youth oriented premium compact model which the company wants to test on Chinese soil.
