The 2014 session was conducted in ITI Tirupati where Isuzu Motors India aided trainers on vehicle engineering and technology aspects. Isuzu Motors India manufacturing facility is coming up at SriCity in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. Last year the company donated a chassis model, and an engine and transmission setup for training at ITI Tirupati. Isuzu acquired 107 acres of land in 2013. Initial production capacity is slated at 50,000 units a year. Production capacity increase will go up to 120,000 units a year. At an investment of Rs. 3,000 Crore, Isuzu is expected to generate 2000 – 3000 jobs.
For 2015, Isuzu will conduct three training sessions. The first being in Chennai and the others in Tirupati. Trainers who attended were selected by Regional Director of Chittoor district to create employment, and impart knowledge for the deserving.

Training can enhance skills of technical personnel. Isuzu is proud to impart training on automobile industry best practices, and strengthens its commitment to India with more such activities. Isuzu Motors India plans looks to achieve 100 pct localisation within three years of commencing production in 2016. Isuzu plans to open 60 dealership outlets across India by 2016, and 160 showrooms by 2020.
Isuzu Motors India was established in August 2012 in Chennai. Isuzu currently has a contract manufacturing agreement with Hindustan Motors (HML). HML assembles CKD kits of Isuzu MU-7 SUv and D-Max pickup truck at its Thiruvallur, Chennai plant.
