The Jaguar F-Pace made a stunning entry at the Frankfurt Motor Show with a record-setting loop. Set to compete with its established German counterpart, Jaguar’s first ever crossover will go on sale in the US with prices starting from USD 40,990 (around INR 27.03 lakhs).
Deliveries of the premium crossover SUV will commence early next year. The base 20d model is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged Ingenium diesel engine which pumps out 180 PS. The motor is good enough to propel the car form rest to ton in 8.2 seconds before hitting a top whack of 129 mph (208 kmph).
Priced at USD 42,390 (around INR 27.96 lakhs), the mid-level F-Pace 35t houses a supercharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol motor which is capable of 340 PS. 0-100 kmph sprint is managed in 5.4 seconds and the top speed stands at 250 kmph. The top-of-the-line F-Pace S uses the same supercharged petrol motor but produces 380 PS. While the top speed continues to be electronically limited at 250 kmph, the range-topping variant is faster than the 35t by 0.3 seconds in 0-100 kmph acceleration. It’s priced at USD 56,700 (around INR 37.40 lakhs)
The IQ platform based Jaguar F-Pace is available with standard AWD in the US. The vehicle is offered in three trim levels namely Premium, Prestige and R-Sport. A range of optional extras are also on offer.
