Jaguar XE diesel with Ingenium engine India launch price INR 38.25 lakh
After launching the Jaguar XE petrol variant last year, JLR India today announced the launch of XE diesel variant.
Based on a new architecture, the Jaguar XE is one of the sportiest sedans in the segment. A dynamic car to say the least, this new architecture contributes to lower and a more sporty driving position thus giving the Jaguar XE a sleeker and more coupe like stance.
Its bonnet is seen with strong lines and a muscular appearance while borrowing inspiration from the F-TYPE Coupe. Up ahead are J-Blade running lights while at the rear is a horizontal line adding more style and borrowed from the E TYPE.
Jaguar XE continues with tradition where looks are concerned while its streamlined shape contributes to lowest drag coefficient compared to that seen on any other Jaguar to date standing at just 0.26. This has been derived due to 1200 computational fluid dynamic simulations and over 8 million hours of processor time.
Interiors are equally dynamic in design and comforts with spacious cabins offering ample leg and head room to occupants both in driver’s cabin and rear passenger seats. The Jaguar XE also boasts of comfortable seating and a central console that resembles a cockpit while choice fabrics and fine grain leather is used in a choice of gloss black, textured aluminum and wood veneers. Ambient lighting in 10 colour options add to interior comforts making sure that the new Jaguar XE stands apart in a crowd.
